IS IT CONGENITAL OR DEVELOPED?

Have you ever though if every human is born with his own personality or it can be developed?

I don’t know, to be honest. Every time I’m thinking about it I remember a story about my own kids and their reactions to the very same conditions. Imagine - 8 months old baby crawling from one room to another and finding a little step on his way. 1 of my children was crying and asking for help. Another one was very independent and trying to get over the step by herself. The third kid was absolutely sure it was a mistake and there shouldn’t be any step (‘Who put it here - take it away! NOW!’)

Now my kids are 14, 12, and 9 years old. They face various situations in their lives but even now their reactions are pretty much the same as when they were 8 months old. One of them tends to complain, another one is very persistent, the third one is quite bossy. All of them were born in the same family and raised pretty much in the same way. However their personalities and reactions are so much different!
